The Mobile Electronics News Expo is the UK’s largest Car Audio industry trade show and once again Midbass Distribution reinforced their dominance in the UK marketplace with the biggest and most impressive trade stand at the Expo, by some margin.

The entire 2011 VIBE, FLI, FLI Underground and EDGE ranges were on display at the show, with 4x Demo Cars from the Midbass owned fleet on this impressive stand to showcase the different aspects of the Midbass product portfolio. Two new demo cars were added to the fleet for 2011, the VIBE Ford Focus RS and the FLI Vauxhall Corsa VXR which will be at retailers and European events throughout the year. Also on the stand was a VIBE NODDI, a display unit that lets customers demonstrate the complete VIBE speaker range whilst playing Gran Turismo 5 in a fully immersive retail attraction.

The aim of the show was to highlight our 2010 success and reinforce the industry leading dealer and distributor support we are able to offer as the UK’s largest car audio manufacturer.

VIBE Ford Focus RS

Midbass unveiled the newest VIBE demo car for 2011 at MEN Expo- The Ford Focus RS. A walled enclosure of 6x BlackAir 12” subwoofers gives the VIBE Focus RS pavement shaking bass. Custom door builds contain 3x pairs of LiteAir 6” component speakers, with custom carbon fiber tweeter pods seamlessly integrated with the look of the car. The luggage compartment houses a full fiberglass amp rack and 6×9 speaker pod install.

Look out for the VIBE Ford Focus RS at UK Events and VIBE Superstores throughout 2011.

FLI Vauxhall Corsa VXR

The Vauxhall Corsa VXR has been selected as the 2011 FLI demo car. For the MEN Expo show we decided to highlight the great audio performance possible from even a modest FLI install; with FLI speakers in the standard door cards and a refined fiberglass boot build for the amplifiers and subwoofers.

We have big plans for the FLI Corsa VXR over the summer, so expect the install in the FLI to evolve even further over the coming months.

The FLI Corsa VXR will be at UK Events and Retailers throughout 2011.
